Declaration

I declared my heart for you,
I declared my soul for you,
I declared my thought for you,
I declared everything for you,

But...

'His' declarations are above all,

He declared freedom for you,
He declared peace for you,
He declared holiday for you,
He declared everything for you,

Except me,
Except me and
Except me.

I returned my prayer to him,
He never had a ear to me,
I asked for a wish to him,
He never had a hand to deliver,

I devoted,
I devoted and
I devoted.

He declared karma is strong,
He declared, taken won't be given,
He declared some wishes not granted,
He declared luck in next avatar.

I am waiting ,
I am waiting and
I am still waiting.

Yours love.

No one is perfect

It was her general call to Anand at 6PM in the evening after the completion of her daily office hours.

“Hello Dear”, she greeted him in a tired voice of love which is husky.

“Hi Mannu, Where are you? How was your day?” enquired Anand.

“Actually, I am thinking about the night”, She said.

“What?” he asked.

“Yeah, am alone and you know I can’t sleep in the room without my friends” muttered Manisha.
“Everybody went to home.”

“Why can’t you?” He raised his voice and said, “Don’t say all this nonsense. I have a lot of other things to deal with.”

She said, “Hmmm Ok. It was a good day. I am going to have food at Ramu Kaka’s hotel tonight.” She again said, “I have to sleep but am scared of nightmares.”

“See Manisha, I can never understand your cheap and childish fears. I never heard a grown up saying these kind of silly issues. I can’t share rest of my life with an immature,” he said irritatedly. She cried on the other side. There was a pin drop silence. He shouted, “Don’t cry. Arghhh.” He said, “Good Bye,” cutting the call abruptly.

She knew it was silly but nobody said it was idiotic from her childhood. She tried a lot to change herself after his repeated sayings. This happened many times in their past. Not only in this issue, many such incidents, led to this present quake in their bond.

He was totally rude and his words hurt her a lot. She was deserted and tears were rolling on her red cheeks. He was not at all concerned about her emotions. He never understood that ‘No one is perfect on this planet.’ But she thought he would get this one day and comeback to her. He too imagined the same that she would come to him.

She was sleepless. Lying on the bed and just staring at the roof. At the same time, Anand lost in his thoughts.

He was looking at a white cup with a big red dot inside it. He asked cup, “You are so fair throughout. Won’t you feel imperfect with that mark within you?”

Cup replied, “Yeah Anand. I feel but I know I’ll be filled with something which makes me perfect.”

He poured coffee in it. Now, Cup asked him, “Anand, can you find the mark now?”

Anand realized that coffee in it made the Cup perfect. So he got to know that ‘No one is perfect on this planet. To be perfect, everyone needs to be coupled like the Cup and the Coffee.’

Slowly, everything faded away. He cognized that he was dreaming. It was an eye opener to him in the trance. At once, he called Manisha. His heartbeat raised and thoughts were rushing in the mean while. Whether she would attend his call or not. He was totally confused.

Conversely, she sprang from her bed joyously seeing his name on the screen. But she was bit thoughtful for a while and looked at the pendulum clock on the wall. Again, she subsided all her emotions and slided the green blinking light on the mobile. They both remained silent for some time.

Anand said, “Sorry, Darling. It was my mistake.”

And there was a pause.

She resumed, “It’s ok, Honey. Sometimes it happens.”

“Even then I wouldn’t have been so harsh.”

“C’mon Honey. I’m happy that you came back to me.” “By the way, I know you can’t be without me,” she giggled.

Again, there was a spring in their relationship. Then on, he tried his best to make her feel confident in her tough times.
